The World Builders’ Collective is an intentional space where creatives, leaders, and movement makers gather to collaborate, share ideas, and build alongside one another.

Here, we’re invested in bringing ancient ways of gathering back into everyday life, especially for those of us who’ve never thrived in linear structures ANYWAY.

Together, we prototype new ways of living and working, alongside others who are also invested in whimsy, creativity, integrity and collective well-being.

In The Collective, we prioritize:

  • Sacred circles as a way to share insight, witness one another, and come up with innovative solutions;

  • Ceremony and rites of passage as learning structures to help us face our shadows and make meaning from them;

  • Seasonal, cyclical living as an invitation into our humanity and a reminder to connect with nature, to whole ourselves and embrace non-extractive approaches to growth;

  • Collective resourcing and support as core tenants to how we support one another, because money is only one form of value;

  • Vocation as a key point of study because it helps us build our gifts, life experiences, and desires into a coherent map of community stewardship;

  • Energy management and coherence, plus a reminder that intuition, whimsy, and imagination are the whole damn thing; to help us stay in community while also owning our own journeys.

Our goal as a community is to create a village-style model of support – to introduce you to incredible creative humans who can assist your growth as much as you assist theirs, and to tend to that ache of loneliness many of us carry.

We gather because we believe something better is possible for our society, and because we know that our evolution begins by practicing new (and often ancient) ways of being.

What’s included in The Collective:

  • A vibrant gathering space hosted on Circle to share your wins, your work, and your growth edges, with specific affinity rooms for your world building archetype, boards for asks and offers, and resource & promotion sharing opportunities.

  • Our member directory is designed to help you find support, connection, and collaboration with the right people, plus connective support from our community steward.

  • Shout outs and features in the World Builders Collective newsletter and on our social media accounts. You’ll also have opportunities to promote your work within The Collective community as well.

  • 2-3 times per month, you’ll be invited to join World Building workshops led by members. Our workshop leadership application process is open to you as a way to help you build your body of work. Workshop leaders receive testimonials from the community and are able to promote their offers.

  • A few times per month, we’ll spend 60-90 minutes together in accountability sessions called Builder’s Labs. Meet great people AND get in some heads-down work time.

  • Get match-made with 5-6 other humans of the same or complementary building archetypes to discuss how your work is moving in the world. Think of this as an intellectual marketplace: You’ll mind meld on marketing, money, strategic building, emotional growth, and beyond.

  • Join monthly ritual, rite of passage, and clearing sessions with WB founder Jenni Gritters designed to help you settle, learn, and ease into ritual, all while acknowledging seasonal shifts.

  • Bring your creative work and visions (of any kind!) to share with your fellow members in an open-mic style session each season.

  • Set up a “booth” and sell your wares to The Collective, with special discounts for members and opportunities for work swaps as well. All members come planning to invest in some way!

The World Builders’ Manifesto

Designed, created and co-written by The Collective’s 60+ founding members, who spent 2 months setting up clear foundations for the village.

As members of The World Builders’ Collective, we stand for self-awareness as a key part of building a new world. We actively shed limiting beliefs to find new ways of doing and being. 

We build sustainably, as a group and individually, around energy and rhythms, rather than reinforcing patriarchal, hierarchical structures. We aim to prototype new norms, possibilities, and permissions slips via our approach to our work and lives.

We stand firm in our desire to create soul connections over transactional relationships. We actively prioritize the creative magic of the human mind over AI-generated content and interaction. And we are mindful and accepting of different backgrounds and identities while shunning any pressure to assimilate or conform. 

We hold space here for all beings of all kinds, and we bravely do the inner work that allows us to receive care and support, too. Building community is an active, not a passive, practice. When we gather, we lift each other up purposefully. We explore unique and non-traditional ways of sharing collective wealth, with the intent of bringing new and necessary creative works and projects into the world. And as a rule, we do not judge, we do not gossip, and we work to provide a place for the whole self within this sacred container. 

We are all leaders here in The Collective. We are sovereign over our own needs, while intentionally strengthening group bonds and evolving. In a world that promotes independence, we stand for inter-dependence.

Everyone has ownership over the direction of The Collective, and everyone here has the power to be a visionary. 

As members of The Collective, we strive to:

  1. Challenge the existing systems that no longer work for us (and never really did);

  2. Take active efforts toward depth and reciprocity;

  3. Use our voices mindfully and in good faith, and speak up when the moment calls for truth telling; 

  4. Approach the community with curiosity and foster a space where it’s safe to ask questions; 

  5. Prioritize inclusivity as an intentional, daily practice via non-defensive conversation, acknowledgement of different lived experiences, avoiding language that makes assumptions about any individual’s identity, and being open to constructive criticism;

  6. Be delusional on purpose and lean into visionary, paradigm-changing ways of thinking;

  7. Support regenerative and collaborative business strategies that allow us to pool resources and provide mutual aid;

  8. Honor seasonal pacing and know our own boundaries;

  9. Show up as we are, and embrace messiness and imperfection as a matter of practice that models how others can show up as their whole selves, too.

It is our obligation to create the world we want to be a part of.

Each month, we gather for a mix of live workshops, accountability sessions, salons, art shows, state of the collective sessions, and sacred ceremonies. Here’s what’s coming up:

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE LISTED IN PACIFIC TIME ZONE

  • In this interactive workshop taught by community expert Lauren Strayhorn, we’ll explore how your audience, content, programs, events, offers, and community can work together as part of a larger ecosystem. She’ll introduce her 4 S’s of community building—Strategy, Simplify, Systems, and Scale—as a framework for helping participants think more intentionally about what they’re building, how the pieces connect, and what they actually need to prioritize.

  • The Collective’s members have resoundingly asked for more creative outlets, play, and opportunities to connect in non-work environments, so we will be hosting a quarterly Open Mic session. Bring your poems, your stories, your weird watercolors, and share with the class, or just sit back and enjoy the show.

  • Join World Builders’ founder Jenni Gritters for a 3-part series focused on expressing the emotions you have related to money, so you can clear space for the next chapter of your financial story.

    October 9th: RAGE. We will begin our time together by moving the emotions of RAGE and anger as they apply to money. In order to dream of what might come next for us as a society, we must express what was taken.

    October 16th: SHAME. We will study our relationships to shame and self-doubt, to confusion and limited possibility. We will say what’s been kept hidden, in a sacred community space, because shame only thrives in the dark. We will also practice the art of self compassion, of seeing clearly what we might take responsibility for and what isn’t ours to hold any longer.

    October 23rd: RESOURCING. Our third session will move us towards a study of possibility – gently, with curiosity. We’ll look at what it means to resource ourselves and others well. We will name our bodies of work and consider what they require to be well. We will slowly, together, install new operating systems from a place of neutrality. We’ll also develop a personalized toolkit to use when the grip comes back (because it certainly will) – a toolkit to snap out of the dream, to wake up again.

  • Sometimes the easiest way to start shifting your "money energetics" is through a physical, structural change in how you manage and think about your money.

    Heather Floyd will share the insights she gleaned from the book "Profit First," which changed how she was managing her business income and expenses. She adapted the “Profit First” model to her sole-proprietor LLC, and eliminated stress around the "feast/famine" cycle, opening up feelings of expansiveness, possibility, and relaxation around her business finances.

    Though not a financial professional, Heather will share what she learned, how she restructured her bank accounts, the systems she has in place, and the results she has experienced.

  • New to The Collective or want to get re-acquainted? Join us for a quick orientation session where we will show you around our gathering space and you can get to know fellow members. Offered twice per month.

  • When you think about your favorite fairy tale or horror movie, what's the monster that haunts the hero/ine? Do you find yourself obsessed by stories about zombies or vampires? Or maybe it's cryptids like moth man or wendigos. No matter what monster haunts your nightmares, there's something subconscious to explore that can unlock your creative process. We'll dive into some common themes behind the big baddies, and do some generative writing exercises to explore what messages lurk from the dark. 

  • Join other World Builders for virtual accountability and co-working. Use this space to catch up, share ideas, and then knock some items off your to-do list during the dedicated work time.

  • You have a book idea—a concept you want to teach, an idea you're itching to explore, a framework that will change the game for your readers. But something feels a little sticky. Dr. Bailey Lang a.k.a. the Literary Witch will help you reconnect with your creative intuition and the energy of your book, together. Bring a question about your book and get an intuitive, supportive oracle card reading to help you find the path back to your truest creative self.

  • This workshop, hosted by Erin Jones, blends classic children's literature and a guided crafting practice to help participants reconnect with their imagination and spark creative inspiration.  Adapting the framework from her years as a sixth grade teacher,  Erin now empowers adults who have forgotten their childlike imagination and lack creative momentum. Participants will leave with a fresh rediscovery of their own version of "Neverland,” plus a menu of creative tools and inspiration to draw from when their creative well is running dry.

  • Websites have different roles in your business based on different marketing channels. This workshop, taught by Stacey Nicholls outlines how to make sure your website acts as the bridge between marketing and sales.

Participants will leave knowing how their marketing influences their website, the key pieces they need on their website to make sales calls easier, and how to know when it's time to update this strategy.

    If you're having sales calls with people who aren't the right fit, this is for you.

What makes us unique:

The Collective funds the collective.

Starting in January 2027, 20% of all Collective membership revenue goes directly into our Collective Resourcing Pool, which is a shared pool of money designed to resource the people, projects, and possibilities within our community. That number will be increased to 30%+ as soon as we’re able.

At the end of each quarter, a board of Collective members will help decide where that money goes. Together, we might choose to fund member’s creative projects, offer scholarships, provide microgrants, support community initiatives, or experiment with entirely new ways of circulating resources among us.

Promotion is driven by true friendship.

Here, people learn about your work through time spent together. You’ll get to know each other via career and business-focused conversations, sure. But you’ll also gather for silly art shows, small group salons, and in-person retreats. Instead of shouting about your wares on social media, you can simply show up and get to know people in The Collective – which naturally brings ideal client opportunities, trades, and collaborations into your life.

This space is, by design, non-transactional. It requires you to show up with generosity, and to receive support as well.

The people in this village embrace wild duality.

Most of our members are neurodivergent, intuitive, creative, multi-passionate, and non-linear. But you’ll also find that these same people are ALSO practical, strategic, hard working, and highly successful. This combination of whimsy and structure, intuition and strategy, and fun and devotion, creates an environment where ALL of you is welcome.
